Our association focuses on helping people understand their own culture, understand others develop positive inter- group relations, and build strong communities.

We are pleased to inform all the Somalis living in Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, as well as the entire central Pennsylvania that the Somali Association of Central Pennsylvania has launched an operational office at the above stated address. Having realized the needs and the challenges faced by the Somali Community in this magnificent environment with great diversity, the Somali Association of Central PA will offer a wide range of services in order for the community to achieve its full potential of life, a sense of self-reliance and self-confidence. In this case some of the assistance SACP will engage but is not limited to are as follows:
Interpretation and Translation services.
Employment and job findings.
Youth, sports and leadership developments.
Immigration and social services.
Transportation and car pooling
Educational opportunities for children and adults.
